The squads are out & as usual there's some new blood coming through from M10 Cup & age group plus a few guys moving around the traps (e.g. Marty Mac to Chiefs to play second fiddle to lil bro DMac) & even a blast from the past, Dan Kirkpatrick back from six years in France to lead the Bloos to glory.

All kinds of fancy-pants graphics out there but sadly I can't share them in G&GR's current state so it's boring old text-only & article links I'm afraid.

Geez WOB, not often you look at Canes pack with so much depth in front row, quite like that pack as a whole, come to think of it there some pretty reasonable backs going to miss game time too
Blues are going to struggle at 10 I imagine, but even with a good one, you know they will stuff it up.

I heard Dane Coles is going to retire after the EOYT. He is showing signs of brain damage from all the concussion issues.

I heard Dane Coles is going to retire after the EOYT. He is showing signs of brain damage from all the concussion issues.

He has been struggling with it all season. All Blacks will look to give him some extended time off before ramping up preparations into the RWC. That will also be able to give a guy like Asofa some quality game time alongside Riccitelli

2018 jerseys are out.

Bloos:

http://m.champions.co.nz/super-rugby/blues-super-rugby/ADBP5721/Blues-Super-Rugby-Jersey-2018.html

Could been worse, they could given the random 3-year-old with ADD more than one giant-tipped magic marker...............

Tribe:

http://m.champions.co.nz/super-rugby/chiefs-super-rugby/ADBP5649/Chiefs-Super-Rugby-Jersey-2018.html

Toned down a lot from 2017, but if the motif is grey not silver then maybe a little too much so?

Horrorcanes:

Oh. Dear. God.

CruSadists:

http://m.champions.co.nz/super-rugb...BP5695/Crusaders-Super-Rugby-Jersey-2018.html

Yeah, I have no clue wtf those cube thingos are either......

Clan:

http://m.champions.co.nz/super-rugb...5655/Highlanders-Super-Rugby-Jersey-2018.html

Um, guys, it's rugby not golf, y'know.............

All a bit crap, really, even more so than the dumb-ass "Lions Special" ones, mostly they look more like supporters gear than actual footy jerseys IMO.

The guys on Crowd Goes Wild last night were showing off a Tribe & a 'canes jersey. Tribe motif looked to be silver & jersey looked better than in the pic but the 'canes one looked awful, even the guy holding it commented on how bright the yellow is & the swirly stripy things didn't really break it up much.

^^^^^^^ Invercargill got to 32C the other day & most of the lower South Island is officially in drought, including the usually wet West Coast & wetter Fiordland. Possibly some journalistic licence but by Southland norms the writer's not that far off the mark.

Shameless plug time:

All NZ-resident G&GR members need to get on this immediately:

Your sign-up prize doesn't have to be a Bloos T-shirt btw, you can pick a team that's won it in the last dozen years instead...

damn being stuck on the Pitcairns, need one of those Blues placemakers t-shirts. and the Blues hat. If they sent me a New England Crusaders shirt I'd just deface it until it read "New England Crusaders"
