Brett Papworth scooting around Warwick Taylor and over the tryline.

Mortifying scenes.

I was sitting behind the posts the last time Aus beat NZ at Eden Park in 1986.

It being now what, 23 years since we last held the Bledisloe, I'm going into the matches with the traditional expectation of getting spanked at Eden Park and maybe hoping we turn it on in Perth.

0-2 to the Darkness.

While I'm still pessimistic, I don't reckon it will be a spanking. It will be close. We've done pretty well this year (touch wood) in keeping the scores relatively close for the most part in the games we've lost.

GOLDEN opportunity for Aus.

Let's Review:

Aus:

-have proper crafty coach.
-players have belief and are never out of the fight in the last 20.
-JAS

NZ:

-Supercoach has no idea WFT is going on
-assistants have no idea WFT is going on
-no captain
-no leaders
-no relief from Barretts
-bottleless gits
-cahnt spake
-we all cahnt spake

NZ have 13 guys playing in the NOC this weekend, we have zero squad members playing in Super Rugby AU

Also, why are we having seven days off after a crap performance in Sydney before going to Auckland, so probably having 2-3 sessions before Auckland while not including JOC (James O'Connor)

similar poor preparation heading into the Lions

Guys can't win - if they didn't have the week off and got a raft of soft tissue injuries it'd be "there's something wrong with their training" or "you can't run a team so hard in the off week"

The team flies out to Auckland on Sunday morning... Super Rugby AU is being played in Narrabri and Perth on Saturday night.
