I’m not a ref basher but some of those decisions in the second half were downright embarrassing. It was like 4th club rugby and the home team filled in as ref and blew the pea out of the whistle against the away team. Proud of the wallabies who continued to compete hard to the end . Had the hallmarks of a classic match until Fluffbunny 1 and 2 got involved

Utterly bizarre ref performance at the rucks. Every single ruck in existence someone is always "vaguely" kind of in from the side or vaguely not releasing immediately etc. It was like he didn't want any messy "contest" to take place so just blew them up immediately on the first thing he happened to think he saw.

Amazingly maddening the IRB persists with these inept dorks.

Thanks DP. I am rarely voicing distaste at refereeing, this one has definitely got me. Too easy from here to take out on AB fans.

FWIW, I think ABs win that game with better reffing, it's just hard to know firmly.

Nah, completely different. Tate's legs weren't targeted, they unfortunately just become twisted (and/or did the splits) due to the pressure from the cleanup. Hopefully only a minor hammy tear, but didn't look great
I was being a but of a smart arse and largely agree with you but it also wasnt totally dissimilar...
