AB injury updates:

- Caleb Clarke has injured the same ankle that sidelined him earlier this year, he is in doubt, but was positive post game.
- Beauden Barrett has a shoulder injury and is awaiting scans to determine the severity.
- Ethan de Groot was subbed off due to a HIA and is set to miss next week
- Tupou Vaa’i has also sustained a knee injury and is in doubt

A family member had the pleasure of having a couple of not so quiet ones with Phil at a local pub after the Townsville win. Echoed your positive sentiments, and then some. Really feels more and more like his appointment was a deft choice.
Really? He’s a nice bloke to have a beer with but woefully under qualified for a CEO gig. His banking roles leveraged his network, not his non existent management skills. Shore school to the fore, to the detriment of Australian rugby, a la the last 30 years of incompetence.

I did, and do, wholeheartedly agree. But I’m also very happy to eat crow and say that he’s seemingly doing an exceptional job of righting the ship.

For next week, Valetini, Skelton and Gordon come straight back in, and give Daungunu a run, no idea what to do at 10

1 - Slipper
2 - Pollard
3 - AA
4 - Frost
5 - Skelton
6 - Valetini
7 - McReight
8 - Wilson
9 - Gordon

11 - Toole
12 - Ikitau
13 -Sua'ali'i
14 - Daungunu
15 - Jorgensen

Pretty much agree but thought Lonergan was fine - give him a crack at 9 with Gordon on the bench.

Lynagh to start with O'Connor on the bench

We need to change the headline of this thread, as due to the moronic way this trophy is played for, the Perth Test is not for the Bledisloe

No he wouldn’t, this AB’s team remains bang average when not getting every call from a certain ref
JOC (James O'Connor) will be picked. Edmed on the bench again. I think Joe has realised Lynagh hasn't aimed up. Interested to see how Donaldson goes today v Reds.

I don’t think it’s interesting re Donaldson. It’s clear at this stage he isn’t a chance to ever get a look in as long as Schmidt is there

Not sure. He definitely needs a chance to start a run of Tests so maybe it will be on the Spring Tour? Schmidt gave Tom his chances v Lions. I'm interested too in who comes in at halfback with Nick retired and Tate's injury. Lonergan looked good once he over his early jitters. Jake back next week with Ryan. The third one though is anyone's guess?

Too many mistakes, some glaring ones by the officials but some glaring ones by us.

3 turn overs a piece to JOC (James O'Connor) and Lonergan
Really poor defense - Longergan missed more than half of his tackles! Toole and Potter and Bell and Tate poor too.

Where's the beef

Ted Fahey (11)
I think he needs to start with Tane and he will finish with JOC (James O'Connor). I would play lonegan as starting 9. He looked like a Nick Far Jones.

Joe has mothballed Lynagh due to the headknocks.

Dono still needs some work, but to be fair they all do.

My biggest consern is 12. Flook can cover 13, but there is len and daylight.

Foketi was in at 12 for a while but where is he now?

2 All Blacks missed more than one tackle, 13 Wallabies did!

Defenders beaten, post-contact metres, line breaks, all those sort of stats had similar AB dominance
