Yes the "lucky loser" drops one ranking spot. So, the Chiefs drop to #2 seed, meaning they face the winner of the Brumbies vs. Hurricanes. The Crusaders rise to 1st seed meaning the Blues will go to Christchurch.

It's stupid. Just have 1 + 2 have a bye, or, if you have to use this system for a whole one extra match, drop the lUcKy LoSeR to 4th. The luck is still getting to play again. Not hosting another semifinal after you just lost an elimination game.
