40 minutes in and I gotta say Wayne Barnes has got the Kiwis number at the break down. Wonder how he would've got on with McCaw on the park...

If Lewis had been actually watching both teams in Honkers the penalty count wouldn't have been so one-sided. Hence, there might have been no cards anyway, or at least one card each way for the ABs' blatant indiscretions at the breakdown. What they did well was keep their feet, adhering to the latest round of interpretations from the IRB. What they did badly was their constant offside and infringing at the breakdown. The Wallabies didn't pick the difference in interpretation - the ref didn't actually remember to put all the Laws into his judgement.

Macintosh got his ass handed to him by the Scottish tight head. Lots of work for Mike Cron to do but I'm sure big Mac will be terrorising Oz before too long.
