ACT Brumbies 2026

The Ghost of Raelene

Well I don't know if the Brums themselves may get something, but in terms of a cap hit the Brums don't get any dispensation for his injury unless he's forced to retire.

John Porch (Former(?) Aus 7s) is currently training with the Brums over the offseason.

I think he is a good pickup...experienced and well-rounded genuine footballer. You'd imagine he is there as a potential Wing option

Good pick up on the cheap. Played plenty of 15 for Connacht too (across 6 seasons and 90 odd games) before being shafted and heading to France as a medical joker for the back end of last season.

Perth - Canberra - Perth - Christchurch - Canberra. How's that for a stuffed up travel schedule? Almost certainly, a second side going to Perth on the first occasion. Although, normally the second trial match would be where the Wallaby players come back in. Very interesting start to the season.

EDIT : Alzheimers kicking in again. Perth trial is the first game. Expect a stronger team for the Tahs match.

Matt Giteau has joined the Raiders coaching staff and will work with the SG Ball and Harold Holt squads, would have thought a similar role for Brumbies would have been great for him if he is interested in coaching
