It was 99-nil, and as one of the villa parents I was embarrassed for those boys from Peters. They showed alot of heart. The Peters boys have some forwards that were competitive and offer some hope for the future but as soon as our boys spread it wide it was all over.
I hope Peters can get some scholarship kids in the future because they seem to be at distinct disadvantage re enrollments and I don't think it does the AIC competition any favours Peters being so bad.

My mate coached these boys last year and he said it was probably the worst age group he has ever seen/coached. Just a really bad attitude at training. I really don’t think one specific age group truly reflects the level of competition throughout a whole school.

Peters, Eddies and Ashgrove going for a three-way tie. coincidentally the only teams that have imported.. interesting.
Don't know where you get your info from but Eddies don't offer scholarships so any imports you might be referring to are just boys that have moved to the area.

I was gonna say, 36 points on Padua seems a little bit strange to predict when they have actually won a game compared to pats and been competitive in the games they have lost. But fair enough, your opinion. We'll just have to wait and see what happens this saturday. I agree with some of your other predictions though.

One bloke who has really impressed me from Padua is the number 4 Rhys Melville (I think it is). Not your traditional 2nd rower in the fact that he doesn't jump, but players as an extra ball running prop/back rower and his defense can be quite brutal at times. I'm told he is a league, and if that's the case will opt for Confra instead of AIC but definetly a gun

My predictions for this weekend:
St Ashgrove by 12
St Peters by 3
St Laurences by 15
St Patricks by 36

The 36 lead for pats over padua is an obvious decision - im sure we can all agree

Paduas forward pack simply does not measure up to St Patricks counterparts. I've had the privlidge of seeing both teams plat this year and from what i can tell pats seems to plat as a team to the standard that Padua cannot beat. Pats have been the underdogs this year and have not let down spectators one but. this will be a truely emotional match and with the great speed and game smarts of fly half Liam Anderson lineout skills of Diarmaid McDonald and level headed captain Jacob Davis, pats will win the game by this score without a doubt.

Good to see atleast one other level headed person in this forum, despite your obvious bias towards st pats I agree wholly

You've got to be kidding mate. 36 points? I think your forgetting one little thing here. Pats haven't won a game, Padua has. There's being bias then there's being ridiculous.

Hahahaha such a quality troll from the Pats boys above, you blokes who think they are serious about the 36 points need to wake up to yourselves. In saying that, Pats looked the better side in the second half last weekend, with Iona's goal line defence something to be admired. Pats by 3 in an upset.

have seen both Padua and St Pats this year. Padua would be favorites

I saw the SLC vs padua game on Saturday. Padua have a good hard working set of forwards. There forwards ran hard at SLC's inside backs and made ground all day. I liked both of their props and their No. 12 has some nice footwork.

For SLC back to back disappointing seasons of under achievement. Their backrow were totally outplayed on Saturday

Clearly all padua boys above. I'm telling you saturday will be a bloodbath. Pats might not have won a game, but they've come close against some of the clear favourites for this year. Padua will be crushed mercilessly. I'm also looking forward to watching the SLC vs Iona game, I have a feeling SLC are in for solid win. St Peters and Eddies will be close, we'll see who has the better imports. Ashgrove will destroy villa easy.
