Eastwood beat Souths in a pretty good quality game under what must have been very trying conditions.

Not a bad game for a first hit out in 36 degrees. It will do both teams good to play such a hard game before the regular comp starts.

Great hospitality from the Souths guys - they put on an excellent day.

They talk about the ARU in the same non-glowing way they we do!

Given the extreme heat, I thought the match was played at a pretty decent pace.
All in all a really good, tough hit out for both teams.
