West Wing, 30 Rock, Frasier, Theroux, Breaking Bad. It’d probably be the last service I’d cancel. At least with Stan you get a semi decent streaming service. Kayo it's just footy and footy.

Did not realise that Theroux catalogue was on Stan. Thank you!West Wing, 30 Rock, Frasier, Theroux, Breaking Bad. It’d probably be the last service I’d cancel.
Saturday’s Premiership Rugby final at Twickenham achieved a record average television audience of 973,000 across TNT Sports and ITV1, also marking the first time the event had sold out before the finalists were even confirmed.
This incredible achievement was the highest ever for a Premiership fixture, with a peak of 1.26 million people tuning in to Bath’s historic victory over Leicester Tigers.
Do they measure ratings the same way?I always find it interesting just how relatively "unpopular" the European competitions are compared to the TV numbers our NRL and AFL competitions get.
Yes and no, the method and way the data is presented is the same - the sample size is smaller than Aus, despite a larger populationDo they measure ratings the same way?
Hell yeah - I was chatting to my FIL about how shit it is watching a 9 minute "highlight" of a game where probably 3 minutes of that is ads. This is even after paying Optus......Stan are reportedly set to announce that they’ve purchased the English Premier League broadcast rights from Optus later this week.

Do you mean the Channel 9 coverage moving to Stan? If so, it would have to be free, as 9 have the free-to-air rights. Maybe on a free version of the Stan app.and reportedly want to move NRL streaming to stan as well...would be fantastic for Union to luck into
also, as someone who uses Kayo, DAZN, Optus Sport...stan sport easily takes the cake. best UI, best consistency of streaming, excellent uploading of highlights. i actually like a lot of the union "shows" as well

I guess there’s only one or two league games on at a time and not much tennis or soccer live at the same time.Would Rugby really want the NRL on Stan as well as other big viewer sports? Yes it means Stan Sport isn't going anywhere but could Rugby not be shoved to bottom of the pile like it was when everything went through Fox...
I would be interested if they would consider selling Origin as a separate deal?Wouldn't be surprised if the next iteration of NRL broadcast deals see it split apart and spread across a couple of different SVOD services, fairly common in the US.
The cost for the rights is getting in a pretty prohibitive territory that Kayo are really the only ones who could afford it, this monopoly means they dictate the price. But if the NRL can split it apart, then all of a sudden you have 5-6 different platforms who might be willing to buy different pieces.
Yeah Origin would be a key one, the anti-siphoning laws is probably the biggest reason they haven't though, Origin has to be on FTAI would be interested if they would consider selling Origin as a separate deal?
I could see someone like Amazon Prime paying top dollar with a "free 2 x months access" to get all of the series then try to keep viewers.
Maybe they could promote Christmas presents with free overnight shipping? This may be enough to get people to subscribe.
My wife and I consider Prime as being essentially free, we save so much through the year on shipping that the TV is just a bonus.
