I’ll put this one here as it’s more Brumbies related......
Hypothetically, if McKellar goes.... are the Brumbies on the phone to Tim Sampson to bring back to Canberra?
You'd think so, if any team are setup to bring a less experienced head coach through its the brumbies, so he'd be a good fit.I’ll put this one here as it’s more Brumbies related......

Don't let Laurie Fisher have a third go as head coach. Only Larkham and Rea have a worse win-loss record than him.
Hypothetically, I say they may, but it will be with Hewat at the helm and Sampson the succession plan (not my prefered option!)I’ll put this one here as it’s more Brumbies related......

Interesting developments..

yeah I get the massive shits when the Wallabies pinch decent coaches at Super Level.
Cheika was horrid at Wallabies level but had the Tahs in a great spot when he was there - then he went to Wallables.
Link Mackenzie another example.
Source: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...gby-australia-raiding-a-super-rugby-franchiseDan McKellar is considering an approach from Rugby Australia to become the Wallabies forwards coach but, for the sake of his club and the national team he should stay right where he is – at least for now.
.........
more importantly, though, McKellar would make a greater contribution to the Wallabies by remaining in Canberra and preparing Brumbies players for Test rugby. If the Wallabies are to perform well they need at least one, if not two, strong-performing domestic teams to develop players for the national side.
.........
McKellar would be wise to remember what happened to Stephen Larkham, who was drafted from the Brumbies to the Wallabies as attack coach and then removed before the World Cup last year. Significantly, Larkham had been touted as Michael Cheika’s heir apparent.
Source: https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6664816/my-best-is-ahead-brumbies-and-slipper-eye-extension/The Brumbies have started contract negotiations with Wallabies veteran Slipper, who says he is keen to stay in Canberra after making an unexpected Super Rugby switch last year.
.........
Ala'alatoa has a contract until the end of 2023 while Sio and Fainga'a have recommitted for at least the next two years. Slipper, whose deal expires this year, could join them and the 30-year-old believes his best rugby is still ahead.
.........
Slipper and Sio will swap places again when the Brumbies play the Japan Sunwolves in Wollongong on Friday afternoon. The pair have been locked into a two-game starting rotation since forming their partnership last year, giving the Brumbies the sort of depth all teams crave.
.........
Ala'alatoa has played almost every minute of every game so far this season, averaging 76.25 minutes in the opening four matches according to the Fox Sports Lab. It's the most minutes of any front-rower in Super Rugby and ranks him 15th of all players in the competition, which is a remarkable effort given the demands of the tighthead role.
Also incredible that AAA has the 15th most minutes in the comp. What a legend!
