It was a must win game, and he will likely only miss the final round game against the 'saders with the Brumbies having a bye this week...

Well, unless you want to get all Helen Lovejoy about it we can only go by the information put out by the Brumbies' medical team which states it's a low grade calf strain which usually takes between 1 - 3 weeks to heal...

you have an opinion. with Doran "Facts' to back it up. haha
Hang on. He was seen hobbling before halftime. Then he came off injured in the 2nd half.
What happened?
a. No medical staff investigated it further.
b. Medical staff did investigate it and told him not to worry about it.
c. Medical staff did investigate, and AAA said I think it's cramp or wasn't worried about it.
Each way, it raises eyebrows surely.

He’s 31, Achilles injury history, playing in a chilly Canberra. My prognosis… not cramp. Even if he only misses 1 week what were they thinking risking him!?
Hahaha. How good is the prognosis from a nobody on a forum who didn’t assess the player. Hahaha

high opinion of yourself

Hahahahah How’s the opinion from a nobody of some other nobody opinion hahahaha.
Obviously they assessed him better than I ever could but the facts are he reported a tight calf and they decided to roll the dice and keep him playing. My prognosis is, they dodged a bullet with a low grade tear and bad baby sitting.

Something very satisfying about taking on the fewest scraps from the rebels carcase and still finishing well above all the other Aussie sides.
Also the last page of this forum is a hot steaming pile. Go outside and touch some grass you lot.

I think there might be a bit of salt behind Tom's outrage (is that being too unkind Tom?) because AAA was big influence in the win over the Reds. But nonetheless I am also hoping along with all the comments above that Allan gets back on the field fully fit and without too much delay.

I’m not salty. He’s a wallabies THP. He’s fairly important to beating the lions. Im not asking to wrap him in cotton wool. I just found it risky that he went back on the field after feeling calf tightness. I would think the same for Valetini, for bell, Mcreight etc.
Anyways, looks like the medical team knew what they were doing, it’s a minor tear.
