Brumbies v Crusaders Rd 16 (last) Fri 30th May @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

TSR

Steve Williams (59)
If I have a choice between more TMO intervention and or having to live with the human error, I’ll take human error. I’m happy to have less disruption to the game.

Generally I do think the mistakes even themselves out. I get that there will be the occasional critical mistake, and I do absolutely get the shits when I think a key decision has gone against my team but I enjoy rugby far more now than a couple of years ago when the TMO was in everything.

i think we can all agree the ref had a poor game, and in terms of how knock ons have been adjudicated; it was a knock on.
For me the big howler was the officials not addressing the Brumbies player slapping at the ball when Reece was attempting to pick it up. A cynical foul that should have been penalised and carded. It’s curious that all those so up in arms about the knock on completely ignore that incident.
