#5 Trobec had a strong running game and the back up loose Head, Tomasi? looked one to watch for the future. In the backs, winger Tom Leigh and OC Cameron had some good penetrating runs and each bagged a try.

WTF?

Sustained pressure by Barker Forwards bring a penalty in front of the posts. Barker 3 - Trinity 0

Trinity No6 in for a try, sideline kick to come. Barker 13 having a cracker of a game so far - Van Woelkhorn I think

Great defender for the last 5 minutes by Barker right on their try line. Half time Trinity 14-Barker 6. Good battle in the forwards, Barker backs under pressure but have not really done too much with the ball when they had it.

What did the back up loose head do that the starting loose head did not do? Apart from being much larger

No change in Barker Trinity score. Barker look to have woken up a little bit. Trinity 6 & 7 look very dangerous

Waverley lead STA 20-13 with maybe 20 to go, Moretti carded early were Aloys scored their only try in that period. Game delayed due to spinal in 2nds which Waverley won by 30+, Waverley making linebreak after linebreak in the firsts as I speak.

Knox 16As 36-0 over Cranbrook. A better effort than v Joeys, though the Knox forwards were still not showing a lot of urgency at the breakdown. Plenty of good players there that just need to work more as a unit and keep moving forward at the breakdown rather than stopping ang seeking to hold. Impressed by Brook 3 Galastras. Keep going all game and showed ball skills and ticker. Unfortunately Cranbrook called for uncontested a rums so couldn't assess his ability in that area. Cranbrook as a whole played courageously and never gave up.

You guys do realise don't you that this Cranbrook 16As team hasn't won for three years and lost most games 50 or 60 nil last year. Knox should expect to really dominate them.

Trinity 7 is Stead? Year 11 boy, has played Randwick reps since he was little. Fast, tough and knows his way around the field.

My memory is hazy and I'm too lazy to look it up, but it feels as though Trinity has won its first game for something like five years in a row. The second game is often pretty good, too. Then the injuries start...

I do hope they can keep their best side more or less together this year. If that happens, they'll be a good match for everyone - except possibly Knox, who already look like the favourites again.
