Dear SDORE,

Thank you for your heartfelt concern. We do apologise - the smell of victory can be a bit much for some. Not everyone’s used to it - particularly the boys from Brook.

As for the apple cores, the ongoing jokes about sexual assault continue to shine a light on the type of men produced at Cranbrook.

Wishing you a swift recovery - physically and emotionally.
Mate you've seriously crossed the line. This forum exists for respectful discussion about footy, not for personal attacks on someone’s culture or on the men of Cranbrook. There is no place for that kind of behaviour here, or anywhere, for that matter. I’m not sure what’s driving this hostility, but it’s been happening since Knox's win, and it needs to stop. Show some humility, especially in moments of victory.

Mate, spare me the lecture.

Respect goes both ways- and it’s been in short supply from your side since well before kickoff. You don’t get to throw punches all season, then cry foul when the scoreboard turns.

If you're looking for humility, maybe start by showing some yourselves - especially before accusing others of what your crew’s been doing all along.

Clean your own house before you come for mine.

Respectfully, shut your mouth.

There is no place in the forums for this. The weekend has passed, and thus we move on to round 3. Grow a pair and move on.

Respectfully? You lot wouldn’t know respect if it wore school colours and tackled you head-on. Cranbrook supporters were acting up all over Green and Gold - posting smug takes, cheap digs, and suddenly playing victim when the heat turned up.

Now that the scoreboard’s slapped some reality into you, it’s all “move on” and “be respectful”? Please. You had your fun when you thought the tide was turning. Don’t whinge now that it’s drowned you.

If you can’t handle a bit of heat after dishing it out, forums like this might be a bit too grown-up for you.

Why can't we just talk footy, regardless of crowds, school cultures, anything. Knox were clincal on the counter attack and took the game away from cranbrook. Cranbrook controlled possession but couldn't turn it into points when it mattered due so some great knox defense. Knox capatalised on their chances and it paid off. Good game.

Right - you’re not discussing the game, just casually dropping accusations and pretending it’s noble. Don’t insult everyone’s intelligence.

If you’re genuinely concerned about serious issues, take them to the proper place. But don’t use them as a smokescreen to throw mud after a loss. It’s transparent, it’s tired, and it reeks of desperation.

Own your part or step back - because cloaking bitterness in false moral outrage isn’t the power move you think it is.

youll all be suprised when they get an upset this year, which will be Barker. W

Love the confidence.
But think this Barker team is a step above.

Look at the Rd 1/ 2 scores for
Barker v Knox 40-19
Knox v Cranbrook 61-14
Cranbrook v Aloys 64-7
And you see a real issue this coming weekend.

Off the first two rounds, Barker beat Knox and Trinity by similar margins, and Trinity narrowly best Waverley, so I'd see the tight games will be between Knox, Trinity and Waverley, playing for 2nd spot.

Sure, let’s “just talk footy” now that Knox has done the talking on the field. Funny how the “let’s all be civil” crowd only shows up after Cranbrook gets humbled.

Cranbrook had possession like a dog with a stick - plenty of time with it, no idea what to do. Knox didn’t just capitalise - they exposed the gap between hype and reality.

Good game? For Knox, absolutely. For Cranbrook? Just another reminder that pretty phases mean nothing if you fold under pressure.

I know! Where the hatred coming from, most of the people getting angry are getting annoyed at 16 year olds trying to get reaction out of them, and it's working!
No one’s “falling for it” - they’re calling it out because jokes about sexual assault aren’t just immature, they’re disgusting. Hiding behind “they’re just 16” doesn’t cut it. If they’re “just 16” they’re old enough to be held accountable by law enforcement.

This isn’t about “hatred,” it’s about basic decency. If that’s too much to ask from Cranbrooks dire culture or its supporters, maybe take a harder look at what you're defending.

You've gotta let it go. Brush it off. Move on. Forget about it.
