Looks like a really good side and you obviously have seen a few games to put that team together which I reckon will be very close to the mark. A number of reliable goal kickers picked which is always handy. I can't say I know all of them but a few thoughts...
- Molloy would have to be in there as he has always been a standout in the backrow for Waverley. I would have thought him at 8.
- Billy Pollard is the brutal enforcer every pack wants - put him at 6
- I like Dan Breden at 7 as he is a very smart footballer and turnover specialist but I see others talking up Cheal having played 7 in Knox 1sts so I guess both would be good options there
- backs look good - good field kicking options in the key positions and heaps of speed in every position. Could Vass go on a wing? Would be good to squeeze him in.

How can there only be 2 Aloys selections when they won the whole competition last year??

A, they were joint premiers with Knox.
B, Aloys had their 1XV coach and MIC of sport reffing the game (Biast)
C, there is a video online of the ref celebrating as Aloys score a try.
D, the Spalding boys are out
And its the individual they are selecting not the team, there may be a weakness in the Aloys side which Brook, Barker or Trinity may have better players in...

They won the whole competition and beat Barker at Barker with the Year 9 Head of Year by around 15 points. Spaldings are injured, so justified only two players, but Aloys were deserving of winning the premiership last year.

where is this video of the ref celebrating I get the fact it was wrong for Aloys to put the MIC as ref but surely its the exact same as teachers reffing at all school home games. I think it was just blown so much out of proportion due to some people unable to deal with an underdog win

Wow Ovenden didn't make the team, he was a standout in the trial, I think he had 4 try assists and scored 1.

Ovenden has been a standout for barker all year. He had a blinder against Joeys. Hard to believe he was omitted.

I suppose it's lucky for GPS

Brook overcame Waverley 29-7. They truly found their form today, great game for Lamens and Pakatoa. It was also good to see Hayman back from injury as well as O'Reily recovering from what I heard was quite a serious shoulder injury.

watching cranbrook v waverley today and waverley team did not look good. the 9,10 and 12 don't gel at all. I also am amazed at some of the selections for this team as i heard a B's player made a rep team in club but can't crack the A team, and one of the wingers made a rep team playing 9. next three games T B and K will be tough if they don't make changes.

After watching multiple barker v alos games today ( 16's / 1's), it amazes me how Dane wilson (7) playing in barker 1sts wasnt picked. Also, with Spalding out injured for the rest of the season apparently, i think the CAS front row will struggle without him. Any thought on this?
