Justice Hammerschlag - Did anyone argue this as invalid due to vagueness? Re: the alliance agreement clause 2 and its extras.

Get to fuck...
Check this bit
"There's no suggestion the Super Rugby board ever agreed to cut the Western Force from its competition, a Sydney court has heard.

Barrister Robert Newlinds SC told the NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday it was the Australian Rugby Union's decision to axe the Force not SANZAAR (South African, New Zealand, Australian and Argentina rugby).

Mr Newlinds, acting for RugbyWA, said at the moment any suggestion SANZAAR had agreed to cut one of the Australian teams from the Super Rugby competition was wrong."

That then lead the discussion about the "at least" term used in the "renegotiated" agreement - being "at least 15 teams" not stipulating it couldn't be more than 15, just that it had to be 15 at the least.

Interesting -

So, Super Rugby must be at least 15 teams, not exactly 15, as the ARU keeps telling us.

And, SANZZZZZR had no role in culling the Force or any Australian team?

(potentially) AKA - the "madate" and "obligation" that Clyne has said the ARU has to cut a team is a load of shit. bunch of lying...

This isn't exactly news.......... it's always been the ARU's decision on which team to cut.

The members of SANZAAR agreed to cut a team......... decisions need to be unanimous so if the ARU voted against the cut it wouldn't have happened..........

Again, this isn't new information.

More the ARU spin more than anything the idea it wasn't ARU's decision alone.

Well, ultimately it wasn't the ARU's decision alone to reduce the number of teams in Super Rugby, but the ARU did choose to agree to cut the number of Australian teams down to 4 teams and which team to cut.

I think you missed the bit where SANZAAR may not have agreed to or been a party (yet) to cutting ANY Oz team

Am I reading this right ?

The ARU may be under no legal obligation from SANZAR to cut a team. And with Twiggy Forrest's offer, no financial reason to either.

But as of yesterday they still want to ? I'm wrong surely.
