Word coming out of Canberra that Rocky Elsom will be fit to play.

Despite both teams having next to nothing to play for I am looking forward to this game, should be very entertaining.

The Brumbies will be without Edmonds and Maafu who have also been ruled out of the world cup with injuries...

This means Moore will be playing 80 minute games for the Brumbies... Hope he doesn't TPN himself...

BJ, please confirm that this is not true:

Probable team: 1. Jono Owen, 2. Stephen Moore, 3. Ben Alexander, 4. Ben Hand, 5. Mark Chisholm, 6. Rocky Elsom, 7. Colby Fainga'a, 8. Julian Salvi, 9. Josh Valentine, 10. Matt Giteau, 11. Adam Ashley-Cooper, 12. Christian Lealiifano, 13. Tyrone Smith, 14. Henry Speight, 15. Pat McCabe.
Reserves: 16. Anthony Hegarty, 17. Jerry Yanuyanutawa, 18. Peter Kimlin, 19. Michael Hooper, 20. Patrick Phibbs, 21. Robbie Coleman, 22. Andrew Smith.

Rea can blast the players' ticker all he wants, but if this is the team he's going with this week he can fuck right off...

What an absolute shambles...

Who else can he play, Slim? Seems like the options are somewhat limited.

It looks good to me except Salvi at 8. What's the matter? You'd prefer Kimlin lock or 6 and Elsom 8 right?

What would you change Slim?

Salvi and Valentine have no place in the starting XV...

Especially when Hooper and Phibbs (yes, Phibbs!) are on the bench...

And Kimlin shouldn't be on the bench... he had a poor game last week but otherwise has consistently been one of the Brumbies best...

Once again, Rea and his no clue rotations...

And you can't continually play Giteau at flyhalf and HOPE that next game it'll work... especially when you have To'omua and Lilo in the squad...

So what back 5 and bench would you have Slim?

Slim 293

Stirling Mortlock (74)
4. Kimlin
5. Chisholm
6. Elsom
7. Hooper
8. Fainga'a

or

4. Hand
5. Chisholm
6. Elsom/Kimlin
7. Hooper/Fainga'a
8. Kimlin/Elsom

Both of those alternatives would've been much better...

Salvi is a bench player at best...

The Brumbies will be relying on individual magic from the likes of McCabe and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) again this week...

That inside backs combination is not going to threaten anyone...
