We have a lot of issues that we have to deal with short term, but I see a real threat to the future of contact sports with accumulating research and court cases.
There is the issue with how proactive and vigilant we are with managing it internally, but also how we react to the impending law suits that will challenge the safety of contact sports.
I don't see football in the same league as cigarette companies, asbestos companies etc, but we will be placed in a similar situation if and when we have to defend the safety and appropriateness of contact sport.
