Ireland will host the next Women's RWC in 2017 & USA the next 7's RWC in 2018. Assuming the 3-year gap between women's RWC's is a one-off, there will be a major tournament every year:

2015 Men's RWC
2016 Olympic 7's
2017 Women's RWC
2018 7's RWC
2019 Men's RWC

The only difference is that to get the one frame of Tuilagi that suits you, you need to go frame-by-frame thru the video.

But again, back to my original point - where was the World Rugby condemnation for getting plenty of calls wrong, like in the Scots v Samoa game last week which directly led to the game-winning try - for PI teams.

It never happens.

Bernard Lapasset won't be seeking a third term as Chairman, he'll be heading up the Paris 2024 Olympics bid.

On top of Lapasset, Oregan Hoskins is also standing down as Deputy Chairman. Nominations to replace them have closed & there's only one for each position: new Chairman will be Bill Beaumont with Augustin Pichot as his Deputy.

I like that the North/ South balance has been retained but maybe it could alternate a little more?

It doesn't seem ideal that there was only 1 nominee for each position. I do like Pichot a lot though, he's a real driving force for growing the game. I'd guess that Beaumont is more conservative, he's certainly part of what you might call the world rugby establishment. I hope this doesn't mean he's a defender of the status quo in all respects.

It'd be nice if WR (World Rugby) could at least sort out a better global calendar.

Not holding my breath on the outcome of the talks being positive, not much seems to have changed re. Samoa since their own crisis talks in late 2014/ early 2015.
