Disappointing C. Gordon isnt fit.
Really dont understand the second row selections...
Hopefully Tupou is alright, hes really had a new lease on life recently, been great to see.
I think we have gone for mobility and the get off your arse attitude - ie workrate

The Irish will be well drilled and highly functional

I think Frost has been a revelation this year, but he has looked as if he has run out of juice and could be carrying too many expected niggles

Tupou rested is the only unforced change I disagree with. He's got two potential games left before a continuous conveyor belt of pain au chocolats directly into his mouth and we might never see him again. Get all you can out of him.

Samu was terrible, Tizzano's been a weapon. I like Daugunu over Toole, some real strength there.

Always happy to see Valetini start. 60 caps, good on you brother. Touch wood but a centurion in waiting.

That Irish team looks a bit undercapped but they still have 156 caps more than us across the 23. Beyond the rookie at loose head that forward pack is going to make it real tough for the Wallabies. Breakdown will be fucked, lineout with Ryan, Beirne, Baird v just Hooper and Williams.

Look, if we can bring them down to our level and we're still in at the 60th their bench looks nearly as shit as ours and we can maybe hang on. They've got Porter and Aki who give most of the experience to the bench and they're on the down curve of their careers.

An aside, it's a shame Mack's been injured so much. Surprised by his only 28 caps. Only 10 more than our relatively Test rookies Jorgensen and Daugunu.

wtf do you rotate when they have only played a couple of games and have one game left?
tupou and frost?
needed Skelton and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) for some go forward
Wilson lucky to be there
Shame as c gorden looked good
Backline will be 3 times better with ikatau three
Need to get the back 3 more involved

Irish pack to control the game. Backlines feel a toss of a coin and maybe slightly in Aus favour.

Don't think they'll be too concerned about a Prop on debut v AAA. He's not the biggest Prop going around but with Porter on the bench they'll be fine.

They'll play off Gibson-Park. Prendergast is a shovel it off distributor who I hope we try and run over the top of as he can be an all arms grabby turnstile at times.

I suspect Frost paying the price for poor defencive effort and missing too many cleanouts last week. And you don't improve those things by playing LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)

Frost will be back
I think Frost has got lazy, and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) should have started with Hooper to add some go forward. Williams is OK off the bench, but not a lock I would pick for Australia. I note a 6' 7" Harry Hockings is on the bench for Japan, having just joined the squad.
We are pretty average at developing our locks.

Carter couldn’t get up after a calf injury yet a 33yr old Finn Russell sustains a knee and ankle injury yet recovers to play this weekend. I guess a 1 legged Russell is better than none.
Calf injury and a quad injury? Successful return! I want to see how he goes next year before I join the crowds calling him the new long term 10. Tane showing little and back to James this week. It's a wonder Schmidt didn't send him on a round trip to Australia for his warm up!

this game will be won by the team that wants it most.
This game will be won by the team who questions the opposition in defence and isn't predictable in attack. Hopefully JOC (James O'Connor) can get more ball to Jorgo and Sua'ali'i and we can catch the millions of bombs coming our way .
