I dont think Scheck is gone for the season. There was chat on the sideline that both starting props might be available for Kings this week, but not entirely sure. Makasini should be abck Thursday unless it clashes with league game lol

He seems to be the only ref in world rugby who is yellow carding people. And there is no such thing in the laws of rugby as hip drop tackle so why is he using that terminology. Maybe he is a league ref moonlighting as a rugby ref.

Makles sense. He clearly had zero idea about the scrums on Saturday. Shore THP was angling in every scrum and he was pinging Newington.

Kings boys in for a treat when they have to leave behind the putting-green of a surface that is the J.S White Oval, for the Johnson Oval which is under the duress of a 5-day turn around. Field is in a something of a state right now which screams nothing but home ground advantage for the black and white.

Newington groundies gonna be working overtime on this one. Photo evidence to come if sources pull through

Faithfully,
Phillip R. LeCouter - 10th Headmaster of Newington College

Grammar were kept in the game due to the contestant scrums I believe, Shore had been so dominant in this part absolutely dominating joeys the week before.

I watch the Joeys v Kings game from the weekend and I was shocked to see how little the Joeys boys got over the A line. The 10 was so deep he was 10m back from every ruck. The forwards had to work hard. And I feel that this didn't help them at all. The Kings boys were able to attack the ruck while Joeys had to get back and go through the gate again.

Someone needs to tell the coaches to flatten things up otherwise its going to be a long and tough season. It's really poor coaching.
