Teddy Wilson was good but with only Lawson and Bowen there next year I think depth at ten is a concernI thought the ball players - halves & flyhalf's were excellent this year and great to see some depth developing there, so cant wait to see what they and the team as a whole can do as it gains more synergy through preseason & into 2026!
The officially farewelled him yesterday. He's not signed to anyone else so they could theoretically decide they want to re-sign him after the NPC (if no one else gets in first), but if that was at all high in their thinking I doubt he would've been in the goodbye post.I wonder if the Force are just waiting to see how Pasitoa goes in the NPC.

Disagree. All the 10’s this year performed below average thus the reason McKellar chopped and changed so much throughout the season. I would have stuck with Creighton for the duration to build on combinations and develop cohesiveness. Will be interesting to see who they run with next year. Teddy Wilson however had a terrific season.I thought the ball players - halves & flyhalf's were excellent this year and great to see some depth developing there, so cant wait to see what they and the team as a whole can do as it gains more synergy through preseason & into 2026!
Can’t run when that far in the pocketIt just seemed to me that the game plan this year didn't suit Edmed - he's a running 10 who's best when challenging the line, but the plan this year seemed to have him entirely as a distributor, practically disappearing as a threat.
Edmed is definitely not a running 10. The best running 10 in Australian rugby is Donno, and I would say he is average at best. Wilson had a terrific year at 9 and I really look forward to seeing what he has to offer in the future. In terms of running fly halves, we have not really had one in Australian rugby since Quade. That and second row is currently where Australian rugby is really suffering let alone the Tahs.It just seemed to me that the game plan this year didn't suit Edmed - he's a running 10 who's best when challenging the line, but the plan this year seemed to have him entirely as a distributor, practically disappearing as a threat.

Second row is more of a tahs problem then Australian problem. Reds have a handful, Force have Swain and Williams, Frost for the brumbies is good and there is quality tall timber overseas with Skelton and the Arnold twins to name a few.Edmed is definitely not a running 10. Yeah, I get what you mean, but Edmed looked best when taking the ball square to the line rather than sitting back in the pocket. He's not a stepper like Quade or an open field runner like Donno. I'm not confident in the Tahs fly-half option improving much next year - but second row definitely will.Edmed is definitely not a running 10. Hope he gets a mention at the game - he's been a good servant of the team.Article naming the team also confirms that this will be Sinclair's last game of pro rugby:
Only 32. What's his career after rugby? Something attractive enough to not want to earn good yen smashing sushi for a couple years.Article naming the team also confirms that this will be Sinclair's last game of pro rugby:
I remember last year v rebels he came off early after getting demolished at the scrumJack Barrett is on the bench. Didnt get a minute of SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) (Super Rugby Pacific) and is now going to face the Lions. We are in trouble.
