I saw Lauries 1st XV squad had a trial last night against UQ Colts.

SLC have been playing pretty poorly in the trials not a good look for the upcoming season.

Ashgrove play Downlands this Sunday in the 1st and 2nd XV.

Can't remember Laurie's winning any trail trophies the last few years. A lot of players still out due to Term 1 sports, all available next week! They will be ready come season time, no doubt about that.

They were very strong in trials within the last couple of years quite. I am actually quite surprised at their downfall as of late

Ashgrove had some solid periods during the trial. Bombed a couple of tries in the first half and one right on full time. Throw Tom Howard in and a couple of the breaks would have been converted to points. Maybe a few playing in different positions. Overall a decent trial, not sure if Downloads had played any previous trials. Be a good trial on Saturday against Laurie's at Marist. Definitely have the cattle to go well this year.

I believe they are playing St John’s Nambour next week in the Rosalie tribute match?
