Agreed, both games will be exciting to watch. Ippy have a really good chance to crush Nudgee's premiership dreams, while Grammar have nothing to lose yet everything to prove against Toowoomba. Another fixture I'm excited to see is GT vs TSS. GT had a close game with BBC, and I believe that if they carry that momentum to their game against TSS will give them their first tally in the win column. Just my opinion, though.Alrighty men I'm more than happy to kick off this footy yarn, let's talk game of the round. Two fixtures have my attention...
Nudgee vs IGS
Bit of a blockbuster brewing here. Nudgee's coming off a bye with some pent-up aggression, while IGS are strutting around like they've already booked the premiership parade. Tyson Walker will finish 2nd best to Archie Mesritz, case closed.
TGS vs BGS
Word on the street is BGS have unlocked some kind of ancient rugby magic, possibly buried under their Maths textbooks. They've gone from being dubbed the "Study XV" and "ATAR Grammar" (I won't say the full nickname) to actually putting some points on the board. However, i think the boys from out west will show up.
Thoughts?
Can confirm on this one. The whole family was cracking up when young George Hales missed it Infront of the sticks. I mean that is simple footy things. Adrian might have to start looking for a new 9. Can't recover from something like that. hehe.Goalkicking was a real let down for them

Only upset on the cards would be GT getting upPutting this behind us, what are your score predictions for the weekend? Any upsets?
Couldn't agree more Julie. I think the likes of Walker, Coombes and Rakuita will cause some real trouble for the Nudgee outside backs. The grade 10 Barry Takuala was impressive against BSHS, so will be an interesting matchup between him and Rakuita on Ross.I'm tipping an upset at Gaza this weekend. Think GT are due for a win after a disappointing start to the season. Also think that IGS could cause a bit of trouble at Gallipoli. Think they're damaging backline could cause Nudgee some troubles. Wouldn't be shocked if they came away with the W.
I think we are getting ahead of ourselves Forum. I mean come on now. Ippi getting up against Nudgee is unheard of. coming of a BYE makes it even harder. hehe.Couldn't agree more Julie. Young Tyson walker is special. Well see this weekend if he lives up to the hypeI think we are getting ahead of ourselves Forum. I mean come on now. Ippi getting up against Nudgee is unheard of. coming of a BYE makes it even harder. hehe.

Playing against Nudgee requires every player to show up. not only will he be required to "live up to the hype". But will need a Miricale to get the job done. hehe.Young Tyson walker is special. Well see this weekend if he lives up to the hype
Sure, someone has picked him up. would love for him to follow in his brothers footsteps. hehe.Heard rumours that Tyson Walker's signed to the Cowboys. Can anyone confirm?

GT 2nd!Bit off topic but would like to hear everyone's rankings for schools with most spirit (numbers at games).
Here's mine:
1. NC
2. GT
3. TGS
4. TSS
5. ACGS
6. BBC
7. BGS
8. IGS
9. BSHS
Where would you place them Eagles?GT 2nd!
I don't know what GPS competition your dreaming of
You would think that all the schools with boarding would top it off. watching my grandson play at Miskin on saturdi, couldn't help but to bring up the limited amount of BBC boys AT A HOME GAME. seriously disappointing. hehe.Bit off topic but would like to hear everyone's rankings for schools with most spirit (numbers at games).

Especially considering it was their Old Boys Day. PP think this is a bit harsh. Having won and drawn a game I think it would be hard for them to land on the bottom of the table come season end. Yes they may lack a bit of weight in the pack but I think they're outside backs make up for this.Afternoon Forum. Hope everyone had a footy-filled day. hehe . can we all agree that this is not the year for Churchie. Might be a wooden spoon situation for them. especially with probably the smallest forward pack I have ever seen (coming from a fan of the smallest prodigy in the GPS, the Staffy). Anyway, seriously concerning stuff. and thoughts? hehe .
