I'll get us started since nobody has dropped it yet. Hopefully we can stir the pot abit and get the the chatter going.
Just an FYI this is based on the Forum Chatter and from what i have seen at games myself, There is not alot of ACGS and or BSHS representation in the forum.
1. Harry Asi (BBC)
I’ve gone with Harry at loosehead because he brings serious power to the scrum and is constantly active around the park. He’s been mentioned in a few QLD Schools discussions, and from what I’ve seen, he’s one of the most reliable props in the comp.
2. Caleb West (IGS)
Caleb’s been one to watch for a while. He’s a dynamic hooker with leadership qualities and played Reds U15s a couple years back. He’s aggressive in contact, sharp around the ruck, and I’d back him to make the QLD Schools squad this year.
3. Kingsley Uys (TSS)
WHat a unit TSS have! and already signed to a development deal with the Reds and Rugby Australia. He was part of the Aus U18s win over NZ Schools last year. Kingsley is an elite-level tighthead and the gold standard for any gps school when it comes to front rowers and an easy choice here.
4. Xavier Hough (BBC)
I couldn’t go past Xavier. He’s stepped up massively for BBC and follows in the footsteps of his brother Zac. He’s tough in the lineout and consistently makes metres with ball in hand. You can just tell he’s a natural leader in that forward pack.
5. Bennett Armistead (NC)
Bennett’s one of those players who does the dirty work without the spotlight. At Nudgee, he’s been rock solid in the second row—excellent at lineout time and super reliable in defence. I like how physical he is.
6. Dyer Akaula (BGS)
Dyer is a beast. Built like a fridge and hits like a truck. He’s been one of Grammar’s standout in trials and one of the best young players in the GPS comp last he and just doesn’t stop working. Every team needs a player like him absolute mongrel at the breakdown and fearless in defence.
7. Ollie Nasser (GT)
Now, I know Ollie’s not traditionally a 7, but I just had to get him in this team. He’s been a leader at Terrace for years and never takes a backwards step. Plays with heart, and you always notice him on the field.
8. Nissi Vivessi (BGS)
This bloke might be my favourite player to watch in the GPS. He runs like he’s got a personal grudge against the opposition and never shies away from contact. Athletic, powerful, HE IS THE DEFINITION OF X-FACTOR
9. George Hales (GT)
Three years in the First XV that experience is gold. George is calm, confident, and his pass is crisp under pressure. He controls the tempo beautifully and reads defensive lines like a seasoned pro.
10. Elijah Breen (BGS)
Another third-year player. Elijah’s rugby IQ is next level. He’s got a clutch boot, can play 10 or 15, and is clearly the heartbeat of that Grammar backline. I’ve got so much respect for the way he directs play and takes control under pressure.
11. Adam Davis (TGS)
Adam’s pace and positioning are elite. He’s the kind of winger who finishes everything and always finds space. Very reliable under the high ball, and his work rate is huge for Toowoomba.
12. Tai Taka (BBC)
Tai is a proper 12. He runs straight, tackles hard, and doesn’t overplay his hand. He’s the kind of centre you want in tight matches someone who can bash the gain line and hold his ground defensively.
13. Rhymun Tusi (TGS)
I love what Rhymun brings at 13. Fast, evasive, and not afraid to take risks. He breaks the line regularly and brings that spark you need to open up a game. Every time he touches the ball, you feel like something could happen.
14. Ethan Grimshaw (NC)
Ethan’s really developed into a dependable winger. He’s athletic, tough, and isn’t afraid to get dirty. Always chasing kicks, tracking across in cover, and making good yardage. One of the more balanced backs going around.
15. Kilarney Lavender (TSS)
I know most lists have him at 12, but I love Kilarney at fullback. He’s calm under pressure, has a monster boot, and adds serious polish at the back. He’s played for Reds U16s and looks destined for higher honours.
