Word has it that the GPS competition will be staged in term 3 next year with soccer in term 2 - how will that fit in with the rep games which are played in late June and early July

can i ask if anyone knows what position Darcy Eason from churchie plays. I thought he was outstanding at 10 against bbc scoring nearly the whole teams points, but then last weekend they played him at 9. Does anyone know his position because i think he could be a serious candidate for the GPS 1 team?

11. Hunt (NC)
12. Laud (BGS)

Note: It may be early in the season, I have predicted this squad on what I have heard and seen thus far. However, of course, this may not be completely indicative of the recent form of players.

That's correct on Ngauamo and he should make the side again although he was well contained by BGS on Saturday.

you obviously havent seen TSS cos fattal is #4 for them, a 6 foot 4ish? lad, not a prop. He's not GPS 1 standard yet possibly GPS 2, Barrett # 8 GPS 2 but getting there also. Paraka #1, vassilides # 7and Farrington # 9 GPS1, Nudgees #15 craig hunt is good too i reckon, with satui # 7 excellent also. Only Browning and Sautia and Khuu from BSHS but need to improve after injury comebacks, Ioane # 14 and Eason as #10 from churchie, Aumua from BGS at 8, Davies 10 in GPS 2 (he may be Ok, but will lose his 10 spot to seutini when fit for sure, few more spots undecided till i watch IGS one more time, Maile and Tasi ? possibly.
What needs to be remembered, was the lessons from last year's GPS and QLD games. Last years playmakers were shown up and the team got smashed, so it would be foolish to stick with non performers. There were players in last years GPS1 and QLD 1 sides who were clearly out of their league, and sadly we were smashed as a result. I pray the selectors dont make the same mistakes twice.......we need some dominance against NSW, and there is a lot of new talent in QLD this year.

Vasilides in second row? surely tss should be doing better than what they are for a team with so many rep players?

Why would you stick grant davies at 10 for GPS 2 when he made schoolboys last year? and khuu won't make 1, 2 if he's lucky

Fatal is an enormous second rower from TSS, I seriously doubt he plays loose head. I think you have made a mistake here.
