It's a shame Angus Scott-Young is supposedly headed to the Tahs instead of the Reds. Would have been good to have another pro that gets around club rugby back in the comp with UQ.

Trevor King**^ - Souths - Wasn't he on the move to Bond as well?

Kalani Thomas^ - Souths - Not a good sign for UQ but perhaps Tate might comeback with a few club games?

Treyvon Pritchard**^ - Anglican Church Grammar School - I would say he's off to Brothers and obviously will not play any colts rugby as I understand if a full contract Super Player can only play Premier Grade.

Re TP's eligibility - was Lynagh not a full contracted player when he played colts for UQ?

Kye Oates is officially a member of the Brumbies squad for 2026. Glad to see him and Chace's move paid dividends.

Surprised it took this long considering he always seemed on another level in Prems, similar to the way other contracted players do when they play club.

My recollection was he was development before full contract but could be wrong.

Nah he was always a fully contracted player.

I remember because I was vocal that season about a bloke being paid on a full contract running around playing Colts footy.

I believe the only requirement is for SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) contracted players to play in the 'Premier' level of competition - being Premier Colts or Premier Grade (potentially Premier Reserve Grade allowed as well).

Treyvon is linked to Brothers

and the fact that Lynagh was handed a full contract at 18 was an embarrassment and an insult to all players in Qld who were and are significantly better rugby players than Lynagh ever was or will be, unfortunately it sucks not being born with the correct surname. I watched Tom play a colts one game back in 2022?? against Easts he wasn't even the best 10 on the field that day let alone worthy of a professional contract. He is 2nd grade club level at best.

This freezing cold take could trigger an ice age.

Watched that same game and had similar thoughts early in his career

however he has come along way since 2022 and the stint playing colts probably did him more good than harm.

Tom has earned his postion at reds and wallabies.

Was Taj Anan the opposing #10. Taj went to the Knights at end of 2024 but has has little to no exposure at NRL due to injury. Injury plagued his time at the Reds also. Will be interesting to see if he can rise in the NRL.

Annan has left the Knights and is currently on a train and trial deal with the Force.
