Theo Fourie has signed for the Chicago Hounds in the MLR - Dammers looking after his friends again…. Predicable.
This is absolutely hilarious.
Good player who was developed and played under the coach gets signed… predicable?? Absolutely it is & as said above smart.

Must be a slow time in QPR if we are bagging a good player for getting a chance to travel and play rugby.

Don’t be so quick to judge. Whilst a team of players from a fringe rugby nation may not be much chop, there are always a couple of gems.

I remember a couple of Spanish blokes who came to GPS about a decade ago, outside backs. They were easily fringe QPR level and were genuinely dominant at 2nds level. Also great for club culture.

https://oval15.com/club-requirements/hospital-cup-recruitment-qld-premier-colts/ which club is getting desperate? Not sure how many Hungarian locks and fly halves will be up to Qld Prems standard.
Pretty sure that country listing is largely based on eligibility for the 417 and 462 visas , not some indication they're desperate for Hungarian locks and Swedish fly halves. There are a few visa eligible nationalities missing, but that might be to do with a lack of registered rugby players in those countries, or the fact that there are people around the club with shared heritage to make it easier for the ones listed.

Yeah, I spoke with someone at Sunnybank and they were looking into recruiting from South Africa. One of the great things about rugby is the ability to move around the world to play. I remember the Romanian Captain played at Wests in the late 90's or early 2000's.
