Thought at the time they should have brought Thomas on and played Tate at No 10. Would that have worked better? So Jock at 5/8?

To be fair I think Jock did pretty well all things considering. But yeah, maybe that was another option.Thought at the time they should have brought Thomas on and played Tate at No 10. Would that have worked better?
Sure. But I do think he favours the NZ teams. If you're blaming the ref, you're an idiot.
There are many things I don't like about Williams' style, but his effect here has been minimal
And for 2 years straight I’ve been told how much better Les Kiss is, only for him to fail at the exact same point Thorn did two years in a row. Pretty concerning from a Wallabies perspective, Kiss’ Reds seem to fall apart so easily in big games
Its way easier than facing my real problemsIf you're blaming the ref, you're an idiot.

Does it matter who wants to stay if you can’t win games? Kiss seems to be Teflon despite yet another disappointing seasonwell…. Players are signing to stay with Kiss, and they were leaving under Thorn.. if as you say all other things remain the same; that does make Kiss better then Thorn
C’mon. I think Thorn deserves enormous credit for what he did in terms of tearing down the rot inside the Reds and rebuilding a much better organisation. And for 2 years straight I’ve been told how much better Les Kiss is, only for him to fail at the exact same point Thorn did two years in a row. At least they have had results to an extent in the first place. Kiss just fails spectacularly at club levelWe've seen constantly the inability of Brumbies coaches to translate super results to the Wallaby level. Both Laurie and Larkham have failed spectacularly along with McKellar.
I’d say losing the playing group is a pretty big factor yeah, and as much as I liked Thorn, he had lost it.Does it matter who wants to stay if you can’t win games? Kiss seems to be Teflon despite yet another disappointing season
I did see a difference, Thorns last QF they almost beat the top of the table Chiefs, and in both of Kiss QF’s they have been played off the parkC’mon. I think Thorn deserves enormous credit for what he did in terms of tearing down the rot inside the Reds and rebuilding a much better organisation.
But if you can’t see the difference on the field you aren’t trying.
yeah we get it… you’ve made that clearI’m not claiming Thorns a good coach, I’m claiming Kiss is just as mediocre when it comes down to it
I seem to be the only one, hell Kiss just got promoted to the top job in the country behind 2 QF appearances with the best roster in AusI’d say losing the playing group is a pretty big factor yeah, and as much as I liked Thorn, he had lost it.
if you’re arguing Kiss doesn’t cop criticism, aren’t your own comments evidence that this isn’t true?
as for Kiss as wallabies coach, I’ve said all year that I didn’t think any of the 3 x Super Rugby applicants were the ideal candidates. Dunno who is though.
Nice man, well done.I seem to be the only one, hell Kiss just got promoted to the top job in the country behind 2 QF appearances with the best roster in Aus
Need some props,
We have something like 5 broken front rowers. Three wallabies (one all black) and a promising tight head all unavailable.
Aidan Ross next year will make a big difference.
