Queensland Reds 2026

Blake in particular was named as leading a very strong reds scrum last week. Seems he’s doing it again. Might be our back up 1 we needed.

Well pushover scrum from Bloomfield and Blake is a good sign, i was concerned that Bronson/Uru in the second row might leave the scrum a little underpowered but seems unfounded

It's a good sign, but I'm not sure how strong this Saitama scrum really is. I remain to be convinced by Blake at loose head, but hopefully this is an indication he's developing well.

Great from Pakeho and Pritchard there.

Really liking the look of Pritchard. Young as he is, he might still be pushing past McCulloch as a 15 option. Maybe not next year, but with the extra 10s floating around it probably doesn't matter as much as '27.

Agree. No rush though. He’ll play HC (what club does he play for?) and at least 2 years of U20s which should be a good mix for him to develop his skills.

Fourie has been involved in too many loose passes or off the ball shenanigans, solid hooker just needs to play tighter and drop the off the ball stuff. It’s a position that concerns me, Max Craig has been involved in the Reds squad for a few years now but his development has been slow due to injurIes.

Nasser and Asiata are a solid Faessler backup, but neither really dominant/dynamic players
