Optus will host the NZ game but you’d think Sydney will host one of our pool games likely HomebushThere'd be a lot of empty seats at Optus Stadium for Australia vs Hong Kong China or Chile

We either play the best team or on form the second best team in the QF it’s not a good drawI disagree I think this is a good draw. We are actually better off losing to NZ and finishing second than finishing top.
You need to be playing against a strong team by the time you get to a quarter final otherwise you will be underdone.
Eg springboks could be going in to a quarter against NZ without being challenged at all
Romania aren't what they once were. Georgia will win that one handily.Georgia v Romania is going to be a great pool game
Italy and South Africa joining them, that's going to be scrum heavy pool
Mate, Chile played a fairly decent Italy team featuring a number of their best players pretty close. While understrength. If we play poorly they could jag that win.Of more importance than our Band 1 opponent was not getting a potential banana skin Band 3 opponent such as Georgia or USA.
USA aint a banana skin gameOf more importance than our Band 1 opponent was not getting a potential banana skin Band 3 opponent such as Georgia or USA.
Chile also lost to the Netherlands last year, so they might have pushed Italy but this also isn't a banana skin game either.Mate, Chile played a fairly decent Italy team featuring a number of their best players pretty close. While understrength. If we play poorly they could jag that win.
Meh, the way we are playing Chile wont exactly be scaredOf more importance than our Band 1 opponent was not getting a potential banana skin Band 3 opponent such as Georgia or USA.
Italy beat us. The Italy side Chile played featured a number of the same players that we faced. Chile were missing a few of their regular starters due to 'injury' while playing for their clubs. While we should win that game comfortably we have shown that we are very capable of making it difficult for ourselves.to the point that if we run out a 2nd string squad expecting the win it could bite us. It's not likely. But not beyond impossible. Losing to HK. Now that is impossible.Chile also lost to the Netherlands last year, so they might have pushed Italy but this also isn't a banana skin game either.
NZ and SA likely play each other in the QF - how can 1 and 2 meet each other that early
Would be good if we could actually put a score on HK thoughItaly beat us. The Italy side Chile played featured a number of the same players that we faced. bold to assume England will be the top 2 in the world still by then. Their form line over the years looks like a wave height chartWe either play the best team or on form the second best team in the QF it’s not a good draw
