At the half, it's Italy up 22-3. Took them a while to get going, and they didn't really start piling up some points until after the 20th minute. Romania missing some opportunities, including a sustained stretch on Italy's goal line.

At the 65th minute replacement Romanian winger Apostol scores a nice try off a good Romanian scrum on the Italian 5 meter line. He didn't get through cleanly and had to fight through some Italian defenders, but he forced the ball over and gets Romania another 7.

Italy's still up 29-10.

Italy slot another penalty, but at 74 minutes, Romania force another over Italy's goal line in the middle of a big pile up of a ruck.

Lynn Howells was just on camera looking at the monitor that was showing the camera looking at him look at the monitor that was showing him on camera -- infinite Howells.

Romania ain't done yet --

They work a nice grubber from the touchline down towards the sticks and send a strong chase its way, winning another scrum on Italy's 5 meter line. Italy manage to keep them from pushing over for a try, but Romania manage to get the ball out, switch the direction of attack and score on try on the far wing.

Conversion missed, and it's 32-22 Romania.

Romania took the kick-off at full time, and are doing their best to milk the final few moments out of their world cup. Italy trying their best to spoil Romania's ball at the ruck. It's looking like the end of a Ranfurly Cup match.

Eventually a knock-on in contact, and that's the game, 32-22 Italy.
