RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

Commentary was adamant that Petaia was always to be benched after 40 and the ice has been a precaution at all running sessions.

TK bombed a few overlaps in scoring positions after going himself. Unforgivable for a 13 IMO.

I agree with barbarian. Forgettable game, no need to read too deeply into it. Areas to improve are ruck accuracy and timing (again!) and maybe just pull the trigger on the backline when we've clearly won the scrum within 10m of the line? The arrogance of pushing for scrum penalties with a seven man scrum was infuriating.

Here is some piercing analysis for you all:

This was an entirely forgettable game, and we can draw virtually no lessons from it.

That is all.

Not too sure about that, these games highlight who can stick with the game plan when it gets messy and re-set

Yeah not too sure either, It highlights who can stick with the game plan, and it highlights who can still get the basic fundamentals skills right..

Yes its against a lesser team, so you can expect to make more meters, score more tries and bust more tackles.... but you shouldn't be dropping balls, throwing crooked balls or missing tackles. There are fundamentals skills which transcend regardless of the quality of the opposition.
