We shouldn't assume any returning Tahs will strengthen any of the clubs

I had heard that all Tahs players have been given 2 weeks holiday and many are heading overseas. Not a good look given the state of Rugby in Oz if that is actually true.

I watched it very late last night.
Seemed to me that Marlins needed two intercept tries to win.
That's the skinniest Marlins bench I've seen for a long time.
Although Lucas will make a difference.
Seems strange that I'm almost ruling out the minor premiers a month before semi's.

Mmmm...Rats v Manly at Ratpark next week, top two defensive teams, could crack 10,000 at Rat Park. Come join the fun!!

Kurtley might play a few games for the Wicks, according to today's "Hurled".

I would be much more impressed if he decided to play for Parramatta.

Don't forget Souths conceded two tries when they had a man in the bin.

And the binning offence did save a try. But there is not much point talking about what happens when cards are dished out, frankly.

The better question is: what does the team have to improve to avoid losing a player to a YC?

Off course not.
How about they have a month or so off after NRC?

They could hardly be claiming burnout.
Good to see they were all confident of missing playoffs, and booked ther hols.

They knew about 6 weeks ago before the Test break, unfortunately. Pretty easy to book a week or so in Bali at that notice. Or similar.
I suspect the time off is part of an agreement at Super level, but certainly don't know it for sure. Not that I necessarily agree with it. Then again, they looked so mentally shot, would they be any good straight back into SS? Probably marginal benefit, compared to players and combos that are settled.
