The move to Dural will happen, it is being criticised on FB as usual, by posters who just do not understand the facts of financial life.

Given Dural have supplied a lot of juniors to Eastwood it kind of makes sense.

It'll be a damn sight closer than Eastwood for a lot of their Colts.

They're moving to Castle Hill and not Dural although Dural is one of the District Junior clubs. A new junior club was started at Box Hill.

I couldn't attend the AGM and I am still waiting for a report on the outcome including the Annual Report.

I drove past the Castle Hill site and they don't even have a back hoe parked there any more.

Depending how fast the developers want to move, they might need a rugby ground in the area, and they haven't talked to us or Parra Eels (the closest facilites to Castle Hill) that I know of.

This is all very intriguing. It was previously reported that the Hills Shire Council had awarded contracts for the redevelopment of Eastwood's new home base and was expected to be available some time next year. If work hasn't started yet, that's unlikely to happen and it's put off again. What's going on? As a member, I was expecting to receive more clarity. Was this doomed from the start?

When you stated "they haven't talked to us", who is "us"?

On the T G Millner front, North Ryde RSL has received planning acceptance as a State Significant Development, much to the chagrin of Ryde Council. You can now almost guarantee that it will be approved. It's the first I've heard that it's been sold to a developer.
