and here is the problem! 44 players and 22 non french! no wonder they need mega rich benefactors and the French national team is struggling. The reason Warwick is there as an example is he was made an offer Munster could not match, same with Contepomi & Leinster.
The only reason all the best Irish players are not there are the tax benefits in place to keep them in Ireland.
The French have been offering stupid money for too long now and having 2 and a half squads has become all the rage as they "rest" players for away legs in Heineken Cup (Toulouse are one of the exceptions to this general rule)
