So what's the finals equation here?

Force are hosts and they will play the Waratahs if the Tahs win, the Reds if the Tahs lose and the Reds win, and it's anyone's guess if the Brumbies and Force win as the Tahs, Reds and Brumbies will have one win each.

If two teams are equal it goes to head to head result so that's easy enough to map out (tahs>Reds, Reds>Brumbies).

If the Brumbies win by more than 7 with a bp and the Force win but the Reds picking up a losing bp, (so tahs, Reds and Brumbies are all even) it will go to points difference. In that case it'll knock the Reds out (their pd is currently only 3 better than the Brumbies, and would be at least 9 worse in this case). The Brumbies will then need to have won by 15 or more to go through ahead of the tahs (fairly achievable if they're getting a bp win). It helps them that every point they win by counts double, as it hurts the tahs pd at the same time.

If they win by exactly 14 I think the next tie breaker is tries, so they'll also go through in that case - Brumbies have 2 more tries than the tahs already, and would have at least 5 more in the event of a bp win.

In the reds v force game, qld really has found some quality players from their U20s crop.
Latu with a couple of tries and an absolute brick in defence.
King is a massive human.
Martens is a very lively halfback brings lots of energy off the bench. He’s gonna score tries for fun around the ruck.

Great challenge for the NSW boys to go over there and play basically a full strength Force Super Rugby side. Tizzano obviously not there but Koteka been around a while now and started plenty.

Alcock has been their find of the tournament. I think Poolman reverts back come Super Rugby season tbh. He's playing better here than he ever has for Sydney Uni.

Hendren and Ropata for NSW are the breakouts. Makes Foketi leaving not so bad when this bloke looks up to it. MacDonald also proving himself a worthy 3rd 9 which was up for grabs with Grant out.

Harvey has a lot of people hoping he kicks on to great things but I really want to see the development of Jaques over the next couple of years. He is a big human and very athletic. Was initally named in the 19s squad but pushed up and not looked out of place.

Who drops out for some of these guys? George Bridge is a name but can you drop Burey on current play? Swain must be on an etched in stone shit list at RA HQ. Seems completely forgotten now. Surely he's gone overseas at the end of next year.
