Being successful in Div 1 long term does not necessarily involve paying players.
It definitely means you have to have a strong stable administration as a starting point.

Serious sanctions were placed on Drummoyne for next season with the threat of being kicked out if they don't clean up their behaviour.

Fair result, they should be given another chance - it will interesting to see how they react to it.
