Jeez dude, did you also crack the shits when the Reds own media release 2 weeks ago made mention of the fact his father is the current WR (World Rugby) (World Rugby) Chairman?
I didn’t even think his selection might be nepotism until you jumped to defence of him, i just think it’s a pretty notable relation that is worthy of mentioning and will continue to do so.

did the reds media release say his name? Or do they just refer to him as his father’s name? I have no concern linking to two but to just call him but his fathers positions is just a shitty move.

That’s your opinion, it was a lighthearted comment highlighting a relation to a pretty significant individual in WR (World Rugby)…

As for your question, reds own media department have commented about it multiple times:
The University of Queensland forward skippered the Australian U18s to a droughtbreaking victory over New Zealand Schools in Hamilton last October.
He is the son of former Wallaby Brett Robinson, who played for the Reds (17 games) and ACT Brumbies and is now the Chair of World Rugby.
Last year’s Australia Under-18s captain is also the son of World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson, who made his own Queensland debut in the backrow under a shock of blond hair in the early 1990s.
The son of former Wallabies backrower Brett Robinson played some energised minutes off the bench against NSW last weekend after returning from the victorious Australian U18s mission in New Zealand.

Very disappointing from the Reds, lost it in the first 20 and couldn't reign it back in. Big issues at 10, Jock wasn't it (and probably isn't), it'll be very tough next week if HMP is still out.

Great work from some of the young tahs, Hendren in particular (wouldn't mind if he jumped on the bus back to Brisbane with his path well and truly blocked in NSW). Big game against an angry Brumbies next week, but if they can get a quick start like the Reds and Force did they'll be in with a chance. Question for the tahs is still the forwards though - the best performers are the back who'll be forced out by returning wallabies, I'm not sure anyone in the pack has really pressed they're case yet (Adamson maybe).

‘Quoting’ a press release from the Reds that you asked me about?..
anyway i never claimed nepotism, you’re the one who brought that up, that’s all I’ve got to say on this matter.

As I’ve said, linking the two is obviously going to happen and I have no issue with that. But to ONLY refer to him as his father’s position while pointing out his mistakes? Is shitty and stinks of a nepotism call. You didn’t make any effort to call him by his actual name. Which the reds press release obviously does (but you conveniently don’t include in your response).

Jock looks out with hammy, they have got to figure out 10 quickly. Do we think HMP will be back? I imagine the Force will have a similar game plan to the Tahs: win field position, challenge in the air and restrict running rugby from the reds backs. There were some silky things that the backs did when they actually got the ball.

I thought the Reds would win easy with their lineup. Hendren is a great young player.

Likewise..
Tahs and Force both looked pretty average last week whilst Brumbies vs Reds looked a much higher standard, appearances were deceiving.
Whilst disappointed, for the sake of Australian Rugby happy to see all teams get a win now and some underdogs like Burey and Hendra outplay their more fancied opposition
