Bit disappointing that no thread was created until after the end of the season.
Anyone wanting a Rugby Fix, here is the the link to the Grand Final Match played in Launceston 28/8/21, between Launceston Tigers and Devonport Bulls.
Launceston club have been struggling in recent years, and only this year got promoted to Premier grade and in a great resurgence got the Minor Premiership.
Apparently very unusual and maybe a first ever that the GF was played in Launceston and not the Rugby park in Hobart, But 3 of the 4 finalist were from the North (Burnie knocked out in the semi by Devonport) and these clubs won the day over TRU to have the GF played in the North,. The entire Burnie team came to watch the GF in their jumpers.
High quality and entertaining game. Great to see a good crowd supporting. (And very good commentary - better than SS)
