I'm enjoying this show. Fun people presenting, so French. Who the hell would Australia get to present? Shannon Noll?

Bit boring that we have the same pool again, and Wales and Fiji 3 times in a row. It could even turn out to be exactly the same pool as 2019 if Georgia go through as Europe 1, which is likely, and Uruguay are the final playoff winner, which is very possible.

What the fuck is the point in picking the pools now?

How good is the competition in world rugby at moment. NZ, SA, England, France - I can't pick a favourite out of them.
England: the best defence in the world which is currently the winning strategy - should keep most of their squad together.
France: The most exciting up and coming players who would all be peaking in 3 years, plus home comp.
SA: World Champs, plus will be even more battle hardened after a B&L tour
NZ: All Blacks are always the All Blacks with endless depth

Then you got us, Argentina, Wales, Ireland who can beat anyone on their day.

Awesome state for World Rugby, too bad Aussie rugby isn't this strong.

Yea 9/10 we beat Wales, not overly worried about them. More worried about Fiji belting the shit out of us

Just about the best possible pool we could have got

Would disagree. Wales and Ireland have both shown they're in decline with no obvious young guys to replace their aging teams.

Ireland struggled this year without Sexton and/or Stander.

Wales have been v poor (losing to Scotland at home) again their aging stars have no obvious replacements.

However 2.5 years for that to all change.

Yep win the group and play Arg or Jap in the qtrs. Most teams that have won a word cup have had favorable draws in the qtrs. SA in 07 and 19 and Aus in 99 all had dream runs in the qtrs and semis. Even in 15 we had as simple a run as possible to the final

In contrast Japan and Fiji are going pretty well.
