Wallabies 2025

Yeah you get the feeling this could snowball quite fast if we cant win the 3rd test. Playing the World Champs away from home back to back after potentially getting swept by the Lions would be a bit of a disaster way to start the International season

We still let in far too many points. Can't see us being competitive until we fix our defensive system.
Ok fair enough, I genuinely think the Wallabies have looked good. I do agree defense needs to get on front foot a bit more, but would be surprised if they don't sort that out. Still we will wait and see, the hard part is SA at start, and I just think they could have a lot sorted by the end of that mini tour at least.

Are we ever going to go 6-2 bench again, or is it time to accept that the rugby gods hate us, and we will always pay a price for thinking it's going to work out OK this time.

Related question, what did we do to get this curse put upon us?

I was literally thinking the exact same thing right before Potter ripped his hammy.
Although Tate was pretty damn good on the wing which I've always thought would be the case. Perhaps Toole may actually go alright.

6-2 want the issue
Tate did a good job.
Donaldson should’ve gone in at 65-70 and would’ve kicked that ball into touch with fresh legs and could’ve just pelted the ball down field.
I think we needed LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and maybe TT and again, they needed to make these subs ex AAA and BV later. Skelton had another 10 in him

You do wonder what Mike Cron has been doing with these young guys. Kailea hasn't developed, Nonggorr hasn't developed, Tupou has regressed, Hodgeman hasn't been given a chance etc.

Bit underwhelming
Hodgman is injured
Kailea was developing well and then he went to the Tahs

On the other hand, AAA is likely in career best form, has been great, and Slipper has had a shocking late career revival of form.

Personally, I'm on the fence re Nonggorr, he has all of the tools to be great, but it doesn't seem to be coming together.
