Well done to Len ikatau and Harry Wilson who just made the IRB team of the year 15
Some good names in their
Both players certainly gave it their all this year

ikatau well deserved is a class centre! Wilson not the most talented but never gave up!
Surprised Wilson was there TBH
honestly don’t see him in the starting backrow next year through! I’d go hooper, mcreight and Valetini

I'm amazed Wilson is there, but the rest of the team is bang on

To my fellow Green & Gold enthusiasts,
I sincerely hope that no one believes that Sua'ali'i’i is NOT in our best XV (now, let alone come RWC2027)? Will Evans of the Roar Rugby suggested this in his recent piece. Sua'ali'i’i, whilst marred by a recent run of subdued form, is clearly one of the world’s most enterprising ball runners and superior outside backs. He is growing in the game, but his potential is limitless. His NRL days also remind us that he is a very capable goal kicker, a skill of his which should be utilised in the XV man code.

I think the jury is still out on JAS. Yes, he's had a few good games, but his poor ones have been more prolific. Either he needs more work in the system, at centre, or he needs to work with someone who can compliment his strengths

When will Kiss look to lock down his assistants? It really needs to be locked in asap otherwise we could be left with dregs like Eddie Jones had as assistants

As much as Reds fans don't want to hear it, Kiss really needs to start preparing now
Asking Yoda to take his Tane Edmed chat out of the Reds thread isn’t the same as not wanting to hear about Kiss and 2026 assistant wallabies staff, but that too is a topic better discussed in its namesake thread….surely

This sums up just about all the Wallabies though.

Not that shocking that a young Centre struggles after playing with what, 6 different Wallaby 10s in 12 months?

Yeah I just genuinely think he shouldn't be coaching Super next year, and 100% of his focus should be on the Wallabies from right now. The Reds have a coach that has one eye on his next job (even subconsciously) and the Wallabies get a coach without any runway to prepare properly for the task

But that aside, I am really interested in his assistants. I hope he gets to pick his own and I hope he gets to finalize them asap

Anyone would sellout a Bledisloe mate.
It would be nice to get one at Lang Park for once.
We do get them fairly often in Brisbane given the relative size of Suncorp. It's a hard argument ahead of the money available for the game elsewhere though.

If the increased capacity up to 65k goes ahead (or possibly once Vic park is built and there's a desire to demonstrate it's worth) there will be a bit more room to pick them up, but it'll still require state/local funding, especially in years where there is only one Bledisloe game in Australia.

When was the last one that was at Suncorp? 2017?
