Wallabies- New shorts and socks for 2012

Trivial, I know, but just browsing the kooga website and it seems the wallabies will be wearing new shorts and socks this year. This is the first Ive heard of anything like this happening. Theyre both pretty nice but what was wrong with the old gear?

I think they used to be $50 a pair, now they are a bargain!

I wonder what happens to players who dont like having socks pulled up like Latham used to for the Reds now that the socks are technologically advanced to help improve performance? Do they get in trouble off the medical staff?
