The selection merry-go-round continues. After 13 changes from Japan to England, 11 changes from England to Italy, 12 changes from Italy to Ireland, we now have another massive 14 changes from Ireland to France. Joe clearly doesn't have any idea about what his best XXIII is, and those huge numbers of changes each and every week cannot realistically be put down to rotation to avoid fatigue or to develop the next wave of Wallabies. This level of change is more likely to destroy any semblance of cohesion developing in the team and must be playing havoc with the mental confidence of the players.
This EOYT has turned out to be a bigger circus than any presided over by Cheika, who was known as a clown.
I think Joe has simply lost the plot, after such a promising start to his time in charge and selections have been a major problem. For Japan, he selected 9 players who had not been regulars in earlier tests this year. Not a great start and almost resulted in a loss to essentially a third tier side. The inconsistent selections thereafter just exacerbated the situation.
For a tour result of just one win out of 5 (I am predicting a 6 try to one hammering by France) or even in the unlikely event of 2 out of 5 is not good enough, It is a fail.
