RA don't need an Eddie like touring party of 70 in the northern hemisphere that can't be paid for. Sending people home is routine for any sporting side. They can't just carry extra in case something happens in two weeks.

Despite Joe Schmidt playing down Gordon’s injury at his team announcement, The Roar understands the 23-year-old is set to be ruled out of the Wallabies’ final Test of the year and replaced by Tane Edmed in the starting side.

Western Force inside back Hamish Stewart, who is more at home in the midfield, will come onto the bench and cover Edmed should Gordon indeed be scratched.
