The Tahs only played two games that season and beat the Crusaders in both of them!

Still unsure why they played so few games.

If Schmidt instructs to go easy on the box kick, Carter might actually get to run a backline and get the ball out wider and put doubt into the defence. Go the Wallabies.

this one I don't really agree with - 3 games at the end of the year mid way between RWC cycles and before an extended break from international footy?

I'm not sure selecting him for this reason really moves that specific dial that much. Especially considering the players directly around him in 9 and 12 could very well change between now and then.

That’s why it’s reason no.2.
He’s got a higher ceiling than Edmed. Anyways we paid an extra 100k to get him so he’s clearly well respected by the coaching set up (bit like JAS was before his debut) so play him. I want him in wallaby match environment getting used to all the players he’s likely to play with next year and beyond. Couldn’t give a stuff if he’s likely to play with these halfbacks or outside backs again, that’s out of everyone’s control. Besides, the more minutes he gets with hunter the better for the reds.

All the Aus 10s have the same runs on the board mate. Donno is 26 with 17 test caps. He’s not done enough to suggest he’s a walk about starter imo. We ain’t missing him desperately enough to keep mentioning him. Just like lynagh and Noah.
