Interesting that it is only Accor reporting this - ticket prices for all three tests were pretty much the same.

I would have thought it would be the case for every stadium if one of them breaks the record.

Teddy should have been getting more minutes last year IMO. It's a problem that should be fixed if we can spread our halfbacks around. As a Reds fan I really like the look of Martens but if he's stuck behind the other 3, I fully support him going to the brumbs or force.

I thought that too at the time but it really wasn't until this year that his kicking and decision making got to a level that made him a clearly better option than Jack Grant.

I think Teddy is progressing very well.

That’s fucked it beat Taylor, how’s that even possible. Weren’t her tickets going for thousands and thousands? Do they close off half the stadium for her?

84,500 was the highest of her 3 shows at Accor. Ticket prices were $79.90 for GA through to $1249.90 for VIP packages, not sure about the breakdown within that though.

For normal tickets at Accor Stadium the price range was $149-$649. Corporate hospo started at $2100 per person I think, so there might have been a lot more top end there too.

I guess the stands behind the stage would be closed to be her "backstage" area - and all they'd see if the backline equipment (amps etc)

Similar sized crowd but I think the bulk of tickets being $650 for the Lions test was higher than the bulk of the Taylor Swift tickets.

I think there were less of the premium VIP experiences available with Tay Tay.

Whereas for the Lions tour, there were entire sections of the stadium which were going for $600+ just for the ticket.

Some of the corporate hospitality packages were $1,500 a head for pre-game function and then a private box with all the trimmings. Based on the number of suites at the stadium they probably sold a heap of those.

yes, I assume its the high end corportate offering. I am sure there were no pre-concert events where people had snacks and listened to the likes of Delta Goodram and Tina Arena tell stories about their touring days.

I don’t agree. I know some young guys are able to thrive at the top level from a young age, but I think bringing guys through progressively is much better in the majority of cases. In light of our current situation it would be great if he was further advanced then he is but giving him more game time last year wouldnt have necessarily produced that outcome. From what I’ve seen they are progressing him at about the right pace.

In a similiar vein, whilst I think Lonergan could have been given more opportunities at Wallabies level I feel relatively comfortable if they throw him in now because I think he’s had a good opportunity to develop his game to this point. Going straight in against the Boks will be a big ask but he seems to me to have the sort of temperament that he will come through it okay however it plays out.
