Valetini to have a fitness test on Thursday but he hasn’t trained fully with the team this week…

Not sounding great for the first test.

You lose Len in the first quarter of the game like we did against Argentina in 23, who's playing centre? Potter?
I'd have him cover Centre every day of the week over Kellaway. Put Paisami there if you want, either way Donaldson isn't covering 15 if Kellaway is on the bench

Also why does it need to be Skelton OR LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is a handy lineout operator and can play 6 in a pinch. He's a great bench option.
Agree! He showed heaps of energy across the full 80 last week. In a valetini absence, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) would of been > gleeson. Could easily go 4. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 5. Skelton 6. Williams 7. Mcreight 8. Wilson with Frost and CDC off the bench. But alas, not in the squad.

If JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor) is not in the team at all we are screwed, we will loose by 50 with lynah and donno together
Internet sarcasm?

JOC (James O'Connor) out there jamming fluffbunnys in his 20 mins per game this year?

He's depth cover and wouldn't surprise me if he's running the opposition in the live match practice sessions as you can send him out there to try and test the Wallabies defence.

Lynagh either starts or isnt in the 23. Donaldson or JOC (James O'Connor) offers a player that can fill in 10 or 15.

If Potter isn't starting I can see him on the bench. He's one guy I would trust in the Centres if someone went down to do the simple things well and make his tackles. He can also slot in at 15. Daugunu offers that also and he brings a bit to the ruck as well. With these guys in mind Kellaway slips regardless of his centre experience he seems a bit off the pace this season.

No that makes perfect sense if you're picking a 5-3 split; Tate, Ben and Kellaway to cover the entire backline.

You should be bitching at Eddie Jones for pushing Carter away along with every other Australian coach for not developing a viable 10.
Off topic so don't really want to go deep into this - but feel like this is a big over simplification of what happened. Carter decided to leave at the time he was the incumbent 10.

Every other Super Rugby side had signed a 10 that they were invested in.

Yeah, while Gleeson is playing great Valetini has developed a really strong all round game and his added size helps to attract extra defenders…

On the positive side it sounds like he should, hopefully, only miss this one game if ruled out.

And I would now expect to see both Skelton and Hooper off the bench to provide some physicality in the second half.

I guess it's a positive in terms of depth that the conversation can be had without utter dismissal.

Gleeson being brought back to Aus should be a high priority.

What about.. Valetini gets eased in off the bench? Now that's a bomb squad. Robby coming on with 30 to go with Skelton and Tupou is something else.
